wow friday was such a mess and such a big fucking mistake.
but not on our part thats for sure
one thing i can take back on our "dedication"/"performance"/"tribute"/"insult"/"whatever" you call our useless 10 minutes on stage on friday is the lack of development in maturity of victorians.
sure they may not be there to see 3 motherfucking hard guys who actually made masks to surprise you people and who were actually looking forward to the "performance", they may not be into rock music, they may have some hearing difficulty which instead of hindering their hearing ability, actually enchances it such that they cover their ears at any screeching solo, storming bassline, or insane drum beats which we are played at soundcheck at.. a tenth of our usual stage volume.
but at least show some respect goddammit and some fucking support for your own victorians! i dont expect all of you to sing and dance along to the songs. but you could stand up if a guy like me has the balls to ask you too infront of the whole school, cause god knows how much money ill need to give you to get your pussy-ass even up on stage.
and i learnt that i also have nothing else to prove to you useless, plastic, gossiping assholes. i mean, the HOD of ARTS can come up and say that we suck when we get..
a) a sound system which i believe i can overpower solely with the power of my vocal cords and the blessing of god
b)amps the size of my penis (wow okay thats big, no maybe not!!)
c)a mic stand that keeps shifting the mic, so i have to keep readjusting my head
p.s if it looks like i was bobbing to the music, get this straight i definetly wasnt.
d)and finally, the shittiest crowd that i ever have and probably ever will play too in my entire lifetime.
i mean, even ANGLICAN was better, though not by much.
2 fucking set backs in the space of 6 days for the machine that (a few) people know as polarix. but guess what dear vjc, im not afraid to bitch and say my part since you have obviously said yours. so yes i know i probably aint going to do another show in vjc again, maybe unless you actually bother to RENT a good SOUND SYSTEM (if you even know what that is), fire the hod of arts (i dont even know her name but i know she sure is fat as hell) and for christ sake, our dear supporters please make yourselves heard.
so yes im motivated as hell, i got a new spunk in my step, i want the band to do well so that we can show these plastic victorians just what they're missing out on.
on a lighter note, spent time off today to study with da gang/hood/simpang dudes and julia at parkway. it was refreshing, a good session though not a long one.
been reading scar tissue by mr anthony himself!! its a great book and ive never been hooked on such a book before. haha i think i know who to lend it to in about 20+ days time hahaha.
